Sharon Weizenbaum
Sharon
Weizenbaum has been practicing Chinese medicine for over 23 years.
She studied extensively with Dr. Shu Rong Zhu, a gynecologist
from the Shang Hai College of TCM. Ms. Weizenbuam also completed
a 5 month study program in herbal gynecology at the Zhe Jiang
College of TCM, Hang Zhou, PRC in 1990. She was a faculty member
at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
for two years and has taught seminars nation wide. She studied
and apprenticed with Kiiko Matsumoto for 12 years and has integrated
this style with her own sensitivities and her knowledge of the
classics to form Integrative
Mandala Acupuncture, which is currently being taught at White
Pine Healing Arts. In 1998 She founded White Pine Healing Arts,
where she is currently the director. She is known for her clear,
practical and inspiring presentation of clinically applicable
material. She is a Diplomat of Herbal Medicine as well as Acupuncture.
Sharon is currently a Frances Perkins Scholar at Mt. HolyokeCollege where she is translating her teacher's book on herbal
gynecology.
About Jack Radner
Jack Radner has a masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine. He has also studied various Japanese styles of Acupuncture and bodywork, and Cranial Sacral Therapy, and he incorporates these forms of bodywork into his acupuncture practice. He specializes in treating gynecological conditions, acute and chronic pain, and dermatological conditions, though he enjoys and has experience working with a broad range of health concerns. He founded Two Dragons Acupuncture in 2003 in Poulsbo, Washington. After three years of busy and successful practice in Washington State, he moved to the Pioneer Valley in 2006, and joined Sharon Weizenbaum and Jennifer Tongren at White Pine Healing Arts.Email Jack Radner
About Jennifer Tongren
Jennifer practices Integrative Mandala Acupuncture and dispenses Chinese Herbs. Jennifer has studied both acupuncture and herbs with Sharon Weizenbaum of Amherst and Dr. Tao Xie of Boston. She recently completed a program of study in China with Dr. Liu Lihong of Guangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Wang Qingyu of the Sichuan Academy of Cultural History. She is working toward certification from ALACE (Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators) as a Childbirth Assistant. Jennifer joins White Pine Healing Arts after practicing in Boston where she ran a clinic that specialized in women’s heath. She received a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture in Boston, MA and a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY.
About Wendi Weinberg
Wendi has been working
with Chinese Herbs as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager for over
ten years. she brings an extraordinary sense of organization
to the pharmacy and a clear, patient manner to the students.
In addition, Wendi has maintained a private practice in Bodymind
Acupressure since 1990. She teaches workshops and lectures on
acupressure to schools, hospitals and groups throughout the region
